Question About CompUSA Prices

Have a question about CompUSA pricing. Are the prices set in stone (for things like computers, dvd players, etc) or are they open up to a little haggling? They havea computer there for $1599 that I liked but was hoping I might be able to get it just a little cheaper. Have looked around for price matches, but nothing is comparable.

Thanks!

When i worked there, there was no haggling. However, if you were buying a full system, they might be more apt to throw something in like a surge protector, the printer cable, etc... But the profit margin on PCs is usually pretty low...

However, if you're interested in purchasing a service plan (warranty) then they might be more flexible. You could ask the salesman if there's anything he can do on the price if you buy a warranty.

Remember the warranty has a return policy like the PC does...
