Is discount anime dvd legit?
I just saw that they were selling some dvds at $40-$100 below anyone else, including dvdplanet. These dvd can't be the real ones can they?

Yeah, I'm interested in hearing more about it, too. It seems like a cheap place to get some decent anime. One thing I did notice was that it sold R1 releases and also R0 (region-free?) DVDs -- those might not be legit.

A quick (and I do mean VERY quick) glance, and I found at least three bootlegs. I'd write this whole page off as bad mojo.
**EDIT** - Oh, and the prices suck, too. The only thing worse that pirated goods are high priced pirated goods.

Nearly every DVD on that site is a bootleg. Avoid shopping there at all costs. I had hoped they would have been shut down by now considering the site is operating out of LA and selling bootlegs of domestic releases. I e-mailed a bunch of studios about the site when it frist went active.
