Hk Flix slow shipping to Canada - anyone else experience ??
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced slow shipping time to Canada from HKflix recently.
Not too long ago they changed their shipping methods to Canada. Shipping is supposed to be faster, chaper, and traceable. Cost is $1. Prior to this it was a flat fee of $3 (I think).
My first order with this new shipping method is still en route. It been en route for about 2 weeks and change now. Usually packages from HK and others from the states take around 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. So two weeks is not out of the ordinary but when I track my package is has been in Onatrio for about 10 straight days. A friend of mine ordered using the new method and experienced the same thing...it took his order a month to arrive.
I'm not trying to put down HKflix...far from it. In terms of info and being up-to-date, they are very good. Their prices can't match HK sites, but then again no-one in the US can. They also accept paypal which is probably the main reason I use them. Its just that if shipping is going to take that long, there is a chance they will lose customers...myself included.

As far as I can tell, all but 2 packages we've shipped to Canada with our new service have arrived on time--those two arrived late. The transit times do seem to vary somewhat, but here are some examples I've just looked up that are representative of average delivery times:
A batch of packages shipped to Canada on May 3rd were all delivered to the customers on May 14th. (7 business days).
A batch shipped on May 6th were all delivered on May 10th (4 business days).
A batch shipped on May 13th were all delievered on May 21st (6 business days).
We hope this new service proves to be fast, affordable, and reliable, and we strongly encourage people to contact us if they have experienced delays. We always take care of our customers' needs.

JHosk-
Dollar or no, you should get the service you paid for. We apologize on behalf of CanadaPost for this odd delay. It does seem to be an isolated incident, but we're sorry it happened to you rather than to one of our competitors' customers.
