The ONE and ONLY Las Vegas deals thread.

I was feeling left out

Anyone know of any used DVDs stores?

My pick:
CD Warehouse on Decatur and Sahara, and there's a Warehouse SomethingorOther on Decatur and Charleston.

Other than Blockbusters and Hollywood Videos, the Wherehouses are all I know for used in Las Vegas.

Hmmm, with regards to used dvd it seems like it is time for people to put together a buyer's guide of the local Las Vegas places they've visited as opposed to simply where the best deals are at the moment. The best deal for used dvd will jump around from day to day, so a list of places is more useful.

--- the top 5 pawn shops selling used dvd in reasonable condition and price. For convenience, you just keep adding to the list as people as to it, and bump the worst stores to the bottom of the list.

-- the top 10 used CD stores that also sell used DVD along with the CD merchandise. This list is just for used CD/dvd stores, not stores like Wherehouse that concentrate on new merchandise.

-- the other usual stores that sell used DVD such as Wherehouse and Blockbuster PVD.

However, in my Seattle area, it is hard to get a list together because when people find a gem of a place, they don't publicize it for fear all the bargains will be hunted out (the cutthroat demand way exceeds the supply).

We use to have a good one on the east side, Jmar. Nice selection of used DVD's, Lasers and VHS. Too bad they are not still around.

Try Big B's on Maryland Pkwy near UNLV between In-n-out and Bank of America.

It is mainly a music store so the DVD selection is limited, but some bargains can be found there.
