What happened to "Bestbuysux.org"????

I go there, but just find some weird looking car pictures. What happened to the old site for bashing BestBuy??

I think he goofed up his index page. This still works http://www.bestbuysux.org/index1.html and that page references that car page that is now the homepage.

Maybe Best Buy has improved so much there is no longer a need for the site?

The site hadn't been updated in many months (since September I think) and there was a note on the front page that he was debating keeping the site going. I guess he just pulled the plug.

Uh, no. Just someone that loves pointing out a good pot-kettle-black when I see it.

I think that would be pretty awesome.

I see nothing at that URL that bashes Best Buy.

Maybe BestBuy won a lawsuit against the previous owner. Apparently if you put up a web site with the name www.somecompanysucks.com, then that company can file a trademark infringement suit against you.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...002188_pf.html

"The Washington Post Co. has a colorful domain collection. The company owns http://washingtonpostconfusion.com, http://satanlovesthewashingtonpost.com and http://thewashingtonpostspeakstojesus.com. All these sites were transferred to The Post after it sued their previous owner for trademark infringement."

I'll post 1,000,000 times on this board and it will still be better than devoting an entire site to hating a store, imo, but to each their own.
says you...

I own ihateblockbuster.com and I very much "have a life". I rarely post there, it pays for itself and my other sites (Not by much though) and I get a laugh out of it.

I love getting the "Get a life" emails. What is worse, running a stupid website or emailing the owner of a stupid website, telling him that it's stupid.

Yeah, I'd rather make 20 different posts here per day about different topics than 1 post everyday on bestbuysux on the same topic over and over and over again. There is a quantifiable difference, in my book.

Chris got tired of running the site for just a few people. Although he claims that he was still getting BBY hatemail at a pretty good clip, he hadn't updated the site in months. It costs money to keep those things up, so I guess he didn't hate BBY as much as he did spending money on talking about how much he hated Best Buy!

He was also running a messageboard, what has also been taken down.

Maybe Best Buy threw a wad of money at him and bought him out. I've heard it's happened to other sites.

I'd say that posting here 6 times a day would probably allow for said person to also maintain a 'life'.

Just my take, as one post may take as little as a few seconds.

Ahh...Quality people

I recently purchased an iPod at Best Buy, and, quess what? The shrinkwrapped box was EMPTY!

Apparently, somewhere between the packaging facility and my purchase, the box was emptied, and re-sealed, in a very professional manner.

And Best Buy wouldn’t help me.

It's ok, though, because a couple of days later, a friend of mine re-wrapped my empty box, returned it, got a full refund, then purchased another unit at another store, kept the iPod, and complained to the store till they gave him his money back.

That site isn't new. It's been around for quite a while. If you DO happen to find a replacement site for bestbuysux.org, please let us know. Best Buy owns bestbuysux.org now.

No, it doesn't. It even says right at the bottom of the page...

"This site is not BestBuy.com and is not directly owned or operated by Best Buy."

Gee, Peep and ED....have you bothered to look @ bestbuysux.org lately?

If you find an active link there, that says that, post it.
