Question about half.com purchase?

I purchased two DVD's today from the same seller (hitmenowdotcom) on half.com. I just received an e-mail that the seller doesn't have one of the titles in stock. My question is, since I used a $5.00 off coupon will the $5.00 still be deducted from the purchase price of the one title now since the total purchase falls below $20.00.

Another seller has the same title that was deleted from my original order. I presume there is no way to combine a new purchase for the missing title with the previous order to keep from loosing the coupon, correct? I do not want to pay full price on the one title the first seller has plus shipping if the coupon is deducted from my order.

Any input would be appreciated
.
Thanks

Jon

From responses I've heard in the past I believe if the seller cancelled an item you will still be fine the coupon will still apply. I think I remember people saying that half.com was good about it and let's the coupon stand since you had every intention of buying the item.

I don't know if this has changed, but I remember reading that either here or on another board at one time.

dvd-fanman, thanks for your quick response to my question.

Hopefully you're correct.

Yep it just happened to me. I made 2 purchases, a $16.99 book and a $5.00 cd. I was able to use the coupon since together they were over $20. When I received the book, it was not in the condition that was stated, so I received full credit from Half.com and have heard nothing about the coupon being invalidated.
