Added to an open order at Amazon
I have an open order (stuff that is coming out in the last week or so of April). I found another DVD I want to add to the order, I added it to my cart and then you know went to the check out process and I seem to remember there being an option before to add this item to my open order, but I couldn't find it.
Can you still do this? What is the proper way? Many thanks!

I only recall the option to combine two open orders (if there were no promotional gift certificates or coupons) associated with either order.
This option is still available and can be accessed from your account.

Hmm.... That may be an older option. I've successfully (on a couple occasions) phone in and talked to CS, who was able to add the title to my order. There were times, though, when the CS was prolly too new or (IMO) too stoopid to punch in the order without some type of complication - such as dropping my GC or not being able to add to the order....

If you call customer service and explain the problem to them, they will connect you to an order specialist who will fix the problem for you.
It is a slight pain to have to do that, but it prevents you from having to cancel the entire order. I have had to do this several times.

Amazon Stole My GC's !!!
Changing Amazon order totals
Beware Amazon Shoppers!
Any of my orders which were combined with another order in which either or both had STL or a Promo GC was screwed up. Every time. Having spent a few total hours on the phone with order specialists and 1st line CSRs, you would think Amazon would fix, or at least acknowledge there is a problem. But, now I just don't bother with combining orders anymore, for I know it will get screwed. It happened to Eternia, let's hope she doesn't have to fight to get that GC back.
And I know, the next question is why do I bother shopping there then.. Believe me, it's only because of my amazon nextcard, and since that's about to go out of business, I'm sure most of my business will go to deepdiscountdvd.com.
