shipping reimbursement changed at half.com?
I had a DVD listed with half.com and the shipping reimbursement for media mail was $2.30. I just sold the DVD, but the sales summary only shows a reimbursement of $1.78. I checked other DVDs listed on half.com and they still show the $2.30 reimbursement. I sent an email to half.com, but I'm curious if this has happened to anyone else or knows why it happened. Thanks.

$2.30 is what Half charges the buyer for shipping. $1.78 is what they reimburse you. They love to say they don't charge a listing fee, but they make a flat $0.52 out of every item sold, regardless of its value for the additional 15% commission.

Thanks for the explanation. This was my first sale, so I thought maybe something was amiss. I agree that it seems a little sneaky to post one price for shipping but reimburse the seller for something less.
