Time between release and PVD?

Anyone know the typical time interval between the release of a DVD and when it's put on the shelves as a Previously Viewed DVD at Blockbuster and Hollywood?

usually I see the "guaranteed in stock" titles at Blockbuster showing up as PVD about 3-4 weeks after street date.
