DVD Planet---slow shipping?

I have been buying DVD's and LD"s when they where known as Ken Crane's and never had to wait more than 3 days for an order. Now,as of late, everthing is taking more than a week.I thought that they had a warehouse in Nevada and every order that was in stock was shipped shortly after the order was made.Doesn't look like this is the case.Anyone else having trouble receiving orders in a timely matter.Even with first class shipping,I was receiving orders b 4 within 3 days.

I've noticed it's a little slower since 9/11, but I still get them within 5-6 days of the shipping confirmation. So I haven't had any complaints with them.

I never got a shipping confirmation after like 2 weeks on preorders. I cancelled and went to the B&M. Oh well.

From my experience, DVDPlanet never sends out confirmation. The DVDs just show up.

They've been sending 3 emails for my orders since the end of last summer: 1 for order confirm, 1 for when the warehouse receives it, and one with shipping and tracking.

This has been my experience as well. Almost all of my orders were sent Priority, with the odd straggler coming First Class. I don't believe anything took more than 4 days, and I live on the other side of the country. DVDPlanet seems to have good customer service reps too.

Placed an order with them Tuesday and received it today (Thursday). No problems here.
