*sniff* I transferred the cancellable orders from OrderBox to DDD to the tune of $330 worth. It is a strange feeling as OrderBox has yet to do something noxious to me, but I've fallen prey to the loud strident complaining about OD.

The outstanding orders that haven't been charged yet but are marked as being in the "WAREHOUSE" can still be unilaterally cancelled by me through a nefarious technique, but I am hesitant to do stick it to OrderBox. They've saved a LOT of $$$ for me in the past (when I ordered both discs and books thru their service).

Just received another anime DVD title. It seems that the titles are being filled just like the good old days (back in August, September, October) when you made your purchase and the order was submitted by OrderBox to the warehouse. If the warehouse liked the price, they would fulfill it immediately. Otherwise, your "bid" would wait and wait for the warehouse to get hungry enough to accept the low price offer.

I'm not saying that is how it is, but I am merely doing some recreational speculation. Anyways, I transferred a number of orders from OrderBox to DDD earlier today (using a 10% off coupon from DDD) so hopefully it should be more predictable as to when I receive titles.

What is bizarre is that on some days, I will receive two or three OrderBox DVD shipments from the same location; the 3 orders were not combined into one single box to save on shipping costs. Whatever ordering database system they use seems to have broken down when it comes to aggregating orders.

Do you get comments on your shipping manifests

Do you get strange comments on your manifests?

The shipping manifest is that piece of paper included with each OrderBox shipment. The manifest lists the dvd titles that were shipped. About 3 inches from the top is a box labeled "MESSAGE" where the vendor can write a little note to you. I was looking over my manifests and noticed the CSR message "Hello Morris: Thank you for shopping at SUPERDUPERCLUB.COM. We hope you will come back to us for your next purchase."

Very strange. I had neither previously visited superduperclub.com nor is my name Morris. After seeing that, I just had to go visit superduperclub.com to see what dvd prices were like... I wonder if it is another company created by JK2000 INC (the company hosting OrderBox....

Well, add me to the Orderbox dissatisfied. I am still waiting for replies to e-mails I have sent two months ago about a return that I sent back to them. (To be fair to them, I didn't get an RMA before returning; to be fair to me, it doesn't say on the invoice that you need one.)

I've used every e-mail I think of, called the phone number (which tells you to send e-mail) ... ugh.

I placed an $80 DVD order with OrderBox and received it within a matter of days.

From reading the above posts, I guess I'm lucky I didn't have any problems.

But, I would have to say they handled my order flawlessly!

To be fair to you, you wouldn't have gotten an RMA from them (since you can't reach them via phone and they don't seem to read their e-mail). I e-mailed them for one over 2 months ago and never got one, so I ate the cost of the DVD. Now I am battling with my credit card company over 3 over charges to my credit card for by Orderbox.

Has anyone noticed that ORDERBOX.COM is also selling on eBay and/or half.com? It is somewhat similar to what hitmenow.com is doing....?

FOLLOWUP:
*wry grin* Perhaps one way to keep in touch with ORDERBOX.COM is to send email to them through their eBay/Half email address........... *winky wink*

Latest saga....

Last month Orderbox either charged me for items I never ordered and/or received, or they overcharged me for some items. Of course the normal process of sending e-mail with no response. The charges where disputed with my credit card company. So far my credit card company has credited me for the difference in one of the overcharges (with another still pending).

However, imagine my surprise (since I haven't had any oustanding orders and don't plan on ordering from Orderbox in the future) to find that I have 2 new charges on my card from Orderbox! (just happen to match the disputed charges). So here we go again, spent 20 minutes+ on the phone with the credit card company trying to explain what exactly is going on, before they grasped the situation and allowed me dispute the latest charges.

So once again, keep a careful watch on your credit card charges and try your best to match the charges to your invoices.

Could be... We actually started selling on Half.com first (then Amazon, ebay, etc). It's just another market to tap.

It's only been recently that our direct website sales have exceed those from Half.com. Yay!

Just got off the phone with orderbox.com customer service. They may have most clueless employees ever. Here is my conversation sumed up:

CS: Hi thank you for calling orderbox how may I help you?

Me: I just wanted to check on the status of a preorder to see if it will ship when it is suppose to.

CS: Do you have an invoice number?

ME Yes XXXXX

CS: Thank you one sec.

CS: Oh my I am so sorry, it looks like you purchased this in May??? I have no idea why you have not received it yet.

ME: well you see it is a preorder it is suppose to come out tuesday?

CS: A Preorder? Why did you buy it in May then?

ME: To make sure I got it since it is limited and you guys had a good price, so do you know when it will ship?

CS: No, you will have to send an email.

ME: you can't look and see when it will ship or when it is suppose to ship?

CS: No, if you want to cancel you need to send an email.

ME: that is why I called you so I would not have to wait. I don't want to cancel as long as I get the DVDs I am suppose to get.

CS: I dont know, maybe you should call the warehouse or email us, thanks for calling, good bye...

ME: WHat?!?!?

CS: (CLick)

And they hung up! To best buy.com I will go what a sad day. If I get this set I guess I will trade itor something. Oh Well.

Not to mention the CS had a thick accent and did not speak good english.

Poor, Poor, poor

This place is bad news if you have read this and other threads.

Dispute your charges with your Credit Card Company and order somewhere else.

Take it from one who knows....
