HELP: Jurassic Park 3 extra disc/box offer - can someone scan in a receipt for me?
Hi
This is my first post on here so bear with me...
I bought Jurassic Park 3 (Region 1) last week and want to send off for the extra DVD and Trilogy box for all 4 DVDs (as I already have JP1 and JP2: Lost World)
The problem is as that as I live in the UK, I don't have a US receipt.
I have relatives in the US so I can always get the items delivered to them, but I need a copy of a till receipt for JP3 from a US store.
I don't suppose any of you guys could scan a copy of a receipt in for me and email it to me?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

What you could do is just make an Amazon receipt. That's probably the easiest way to go.

When you said that I should make an Amazon receipt, do you mean that I should just get an email receipt that Amazon sent me months ago and change the dates and DVD so that it looks like a Jurassic Park 3 DVD that I've ordered?
Won't they check?

I've just checked and I don't have any Amazon.com receipt emails.
Can anyone help? A quickly scanned in store receipt for JP3 (or another DVD costing about the same as JP3) is all I need!
Please!!

Gold Trader from THE DVD FORUMS

I wish I could help, but I mailed my original receipt for the Canadian JPIII offer long ago.

Actually, Buy.com (at least from past experience) lets you cancel an order within 30 minutes of purchase. You could order, print the receipt page, and then cancel. Beware though, as this could technically be considered mail fraud, so I wouldn't endorse it. I don't know if they ever actually check the receipts for fraud, though. The proofs-of-purchase are probably all they care about, and something that says you bought it in the time frame indicated. I doubt they have the time to check every receipt with every store. But just thought I'd warn you.

Thanks for the info guys. Much appreciated.
The thing is that I bought mine from the UK and hence do not have a US receipt (online or otherwise) for it.
I am wary of editing another Amazon.com receipt to make it look like something it isn't, as that would be fraud.
I am considering the buy.com option, but am also wary of this.
Ideally if someone had a store receipt for a DVD costing about $19.99 that they could scan in I could use that, as I only need a printout of a scan (photocopies are allowed).
Any other thoughts/ideas guys?
