Is PHOTOPOINT No More?

I, and many others, have not been able to access PHOTOPOINT for nearly two weeks. All I get is a server not found error page - nothing announcing a demise. Nor have I received an e-mail stating that they have ceased business, or anything else. I like PHOTOPOINT because it was easy to use and it allowed me to store whatever sized photos I wanted for my Ebay auctions. It's not that disasterous to me but it may be for others.

So - what's the word?

other than a few variations of this article it looks like no information is coming out of the company. they sound dead to me. a real company would have at least emailed clients

Interesting info.... hadn't noticed it was gone, but interesting to see about the news.

Thanks for posting.

What's a good alternative to Photpoint for auction photos? I tried OFoto but I can't seem to find a way to link to a photo. Any others?

Presumably your ISP doesn't offer any free webspace?

A suitably-phrased search might throw up various threads here with a number of options that have been discussed over time.Several people have said that you could link to pictures hosted in a Microsoft Community.

Hope this helps....
