I noticed that today in the fishwrap here as well. Never was quite sure about what Outpost was before. Was it a site for "Tweeters" or other retailers as well? Fry's has some great bargains and theres alot of people that post about missing out on some of those bargains because there isnt a Fry's in their area, so maybe this will work out well but I wonder why Fry's would associate with Outpost instead of simply their own name since Outpost to me anyway dosent have any real brand familiarity or name recoginition.

well this is interesting, here we have a site [outpost.com] well known for it's awesome customer service and a b&m[Fry's] well known for it's horrible customer service. Just hope the customer service for outpost.com doesn't get degraded

The full page adds in the paper are now for Outpost and Fry's. Now everyone can get in on the deals. One huge problem though is that now Fry's is charging California residents sales tax. I imagine the 3 or 4 other states that have Fry's will start to get hit as well.
BTW, the ad says Outpost.com is a subsidiary of Fry's Electronics.

Unfortunately the ad states "prices and selection shown in this advertisement are not available at Fry's new site".
