What's this number?

Btw, doesn't Visa/MC have 16 digits in their card numbers?

Make it come out to 16 digits it's a valid number that someone there told me to use once. You just have to change everytime you place an order.

Amazon automatically puts your CC# on file whenever you use it to place an order. You just have to go to the account page and delete the CC# from the file.

I agree. DDD should allow you to either delete it after using it or allow it not to be stored, but only used the one time. Anybody ever been able to delete credit info on DDD? I've never seen a way to do it on their site.

if you don't want to leave your card put in 4xxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx instead.
That's the Visa override code. Be careful because I used it at Magazine Outlet to get some free mags, and they wrote me a nasty letter about how I was committing fraud and stuff. I guess it'd be ok to keep that number on file though, as long as you don't use it.

After a potential breach on my account, I changed my Visa number to 0000000000000000. It works fine. I just have to change my personal info every time I place an order, then change it back afterwards.

Be advised there are rules against posting CC override numbers in the forum. You will eventually be warned from a MOD.
