amazon.com problem??
hi people
i just received my order from amazon the other day, PIXAR 15th Anniversary 3pak (Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Bug's Life) and when i tore off the shrink wrap and looked for my free Monster, Inc movie voucher I couldn't find it anywhere!!!!! EVEN WORSE, the Toy Story DVD was obviously used. (only the Toy Story, the others look new) I came to that conclusion because (1) the printed paper cover was wrinkled and had crease/dent marks, and (2) the playing side to the dvd had the previous owner's fingerprints (prints were very visible and noticable, there were 4-5 heavy soiled prints)
question: how did this happen??? i purchased it new and it had the shrink wrap and the sticker that said "FREE Monsters Inc Movie Voucher Inside" The outside box was wrapped but the individual boxes were not, are they supposed to be??

Welcome to the forum.
It sounds like the factory has been recycling some discs???
From your description, the boxset seems to be legitimately brand new, factory sealed since it has the circular "movie ticket inside" sticker on the shrinkwrap. Rewrapped one would not have the sticker on it.
It is typically of Disney that the individual DVDs in the boxset are not shrinkwrapped. Most studios do not seal the DVDs in a boxset anyway.
Most likely you got the "golden" boxset from which the packager had decided to borrow for a viewing???

My suggestion to you is to give amazon a call and tell them one of the disc looks used and is heavily soiled. Ask them for a replacement boxset.
