Borders gift card at amazon.com?
Can you use a borders gift card at amazon.com, or do you have to use it at borders.com? I would rather use it at amazon because amazon has coupons and STL. I doubt those are valid at borders.com.
Thanks for any info.

You can use Borders gift cards at Amazon.com and I have done so a number of times. The Borders gift cards are good at their B&M stores and at borders.com. You have to go through www.borders.com first and this will take you to the new collaborative web site called "Borders teamed with Amazon.com". This site utilizes the Amazon.com database so that if you search for a DVD it takes you directly to the Amazon.com listing/pricing. I don't believe Borders.com has their own database anymore. You have to have a valid credit card entered into the system even if your paying with a gift card. In the Amazon Order Summary enter the Borders gift card number. You'll see below the subtotal something like "Borders Gift Card - See Note". The note states that they will deduct order charges from your Borders gift card balance when your order ships. Your order is processed like any other Amazon.com order. Hope this helps.
