Bestbuy.com question (rebates, free stuff related)
This weeks BB ad has a bunch of free stuff (after instant rebates/Mail-in rebates) when you buy Windows XP. I tried looking for some of the free stuff on the site:
256MB of PC133 RAM w/XP Pro (128MB with XP Home)
Cable/DSL Router
Music CD (up to $15.00)
MP3 Player
I tried putting some of this stuff in my cart and the prices don't show. Went to the rebate center looking for coupon downloads and couldn't find any XP mail-in rebate offers. I called up BB and asked what's up and the guy told me it's in store only
My question, come 10-25 when XP is released will this free stuff be available on their website? Or is it really in store only? Any one have prior experience with this kind of thing?
