Cdnow Preorders And Credit Card
Has anyone else had their credit card charged for a preorder??I ordered the buffy dvd set and it's almost 3 months away and they charged my card(or is it a pre-authorization)!!!Is this a new policy at cdnow?I don't recall them doing this before..My credit card available balance was never affected before until around time the items came in stock..UGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!

I believe that is an authorization charge. I have never had CDNow charge me for pre-orders, only authorize my card to ensure that the money is there. If you are using a Visa or Mastercard, I know the authorization effects your card. It eventually falls off after about 2 weeks.
