Is Express.com not stocking Anime anymore?
Woohoo!! I'm backie! Been a while since I was here because of work obligations. Well now that I'm gback time to post some messages. The topic was explained to me a while back. Like about 1 month back.
I got word from a friend of mine a while ago but I need some more proof on this. My friend said that Express.com is selling there anime off at some good pricings to get rid of there stock.
Is there any truth to this? A warning to all people wanting to buy from Express.com and in Canada. I"m a Canadian and my friend who buys from Express.com all the time gets his jewels pinched all the time with customs and duty tagging thier taxings onto your order which you'll have a surprise when you pick up your item.
Just a heads up to the newbie buyers to Express.com or the followers wanting to buy from them.
A read a note somewhere about Amazon's pricings about 1-2% higher then other places. Well I know for a fact when you buy from Amazon they ship to you without a hitch in Canada. I know there shipping bites but it seems Amazon's shipping included "in house" customs clearing which means the end reciever does not have to pay taxes to pick up there package.
We need a Canada cheapest deals section for anime and movies and which companies in the USA can ship to Canada without duty/customs taxings.
Well time to cook dinner for my honey,
Till next time.

Hmm.....I think I'll try this "post a poll thing ^^; "

When the inventory level of a title returns to normal, the price returns to the normal express.com price. If you see a good price you should jump on it, for you may come back the next day and find the price has returned to normal due to people buying the excess copies. The titles vary, just check on a regular basis.

Express has 7-8 anime DVD's at 50-65% off, but getting their site to actually work is a very hard accomplishment... Ive been trying for 3 weeks to order anime dvd's but of course it never works since they won't validate credit cards.

Your Email address does not work so here is the list :
Blue Submarine No. 6: Minasoko: The Ocean Floor - 50% - 10$
Blue Submarine No. 6: Hearts - 50% - 10$
Cardcaptors Vol. 1: Test Of Courage - 50% - 12.50%
*Cowboy Bebop: DVD Session 6 - 55% - 13.50$
*Dual Trouble Adventures Vol. 2: Student Housing - 60% - 12$
Hyper Doll: Mew And Mica The Easy Fighters - 50% - 7.50$
*Generator Gawl Vol. 2 - 55% - 13.50$
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: DVD Operation 02 - 50% - 12.49$
Nazca: Eternal Power - 50% - 15$
*Rurouni Kenshin Vol. 3: The Shadow Elite - 50% - 15$
Shinesman - 60% - 12$
*Sol Bianca: The Legacy: Separation - 50% - 15$
Tenchi Universe Vol. 4 Time And Space Adventures - 65% - 10.50$
*Trigun Vol. 5: Angel Arms - 50% - 15$
Wings Of Honneamise - 50% - 15$
Good prices if you want to be missing most of the first DVD's in the series. If you don't know your anime, the * ones are the only ones even worth consideration.
And of course, the Cdn customs will add 5$ handling fee and around another 9$ handling for the first DVD, but I don't know how much more it is for multiples. Plus, as a fellow canadian, the credit card validation system does not work so you can not place and order and they do not reply to Emails so I would not trust them as they apparently can't get their act straight.

I think it is because their CC processor does not accept Canadian Credit cards anymore. I tried with my canadian cc to ship to Canada and it did not accept it. Then I tried with the american cc and it accepted the order(not a US dollar Canadian cc, but a reg. US visa).
