Beware ecount.com

Ecount.com, the parent company of webcertificate steals from your account. I had $20 in my account from 4/00 and i made a purchase in 4/00. I just got a note from buy.com stating that i was now in collection for an unpaid bill. I went to my ecount site and noticed that i only had $10 in the account. The extra $10 was taken out in 3/01 without notification. This was not a surcharge like webcertificate uses for inactive accounts, but a "readjustment charge." They claim that their computer made a mistake origionally but never corrected it until 3/01.

beware, ecount steals your money.

I got a similar letter from buy.com. I used an ecount to buy something in the spring of last year and apparently they just found out they couldn't charge it? I don't even remember my account info for buy.com either.
