Has anyone got this anniversary email from amazon?

I rec'd an email from amazon (that has been deleted) basically congratulating my for my one year anniversay. Then it read that if I purchased another item during the month, they would send me a coupon for either $5 or $10.

I never rec'd a coupon after placing an order, and when I called them about it, they said they don't send emails like that. Has anyone else ever rec'd this email, or am I remembering it wrong?

Dear Amazon.com Customer,

What's an Amazoniversary? One year ago this month, you placed your
very first order (using this e-mail address) with Amazon.com, and
we'd like to say thanks. Spend $50 this month, and we'll send you a
$10 promotional certificate good toward another purchase next month.

http://www.amazon.com/july-amazoniversary2/

You can use your certificate toward anything in our retail store:
a bestselling book, a new DVD release, a CD player--it's up to you.
Just place an order (or multiple orders) totaling $50 or more by
July 31, and an extra $10 is yours to spend however you like.

Happy Amazoniversary, and we hope you enjoy many more to come!

Sincerely,

David Risher
Senior VP and Amazon Customer of Five Years (and Counting)

Unbelievable. Now, they are denying sending out the "amazoniversary" emails. Amazon appears to be going downhill quickly. I am having a similar problem where they simply overcharged my credit card for a purchase and are now going to great lengths not to cancel the order or refund the overcharge. Their excuse is that their policies prohibited them from giving me the discount that was on my confirmation receipt and email.
