Amazon and Pre-order dates: Change in policy?

I just a got a shipping confirmation from Amazon on my Die Hard Ultimate Collection that was supposed to release next week. Did they change their anal-retentive street date policies, finally? Seems like they shipped this in such a way as to get it to me *on* street date for once.
