How is DeepDiscountDVD about cancelling preorders if you change your mind before the DVDs ship? How many days in advance do you need to cancel to be safe?
For instance, suppose I place a preorder for a DVD due out in a few months, and then a few weeks before its release date some other e-tailer has the same DVD preorder for several dollars less, or suppose I hear a week in advance that Best Buy is going to have it substantially cheaper. If I decide to cancel that preorder at DeepDiscountDVD (rather than go through the hassle of price matching), is DeepDiscountDVD good about cancelling preorders as long as I do that at least a few days before it is released? Or are they like Buy.com where I often couldn't cancel a preorder even a full month in advance of its release date?
I don't PLAN to cancel my preorders at DeepDiscountDVD, but I want to know how good they are about order cancellations just in case. I have been pleased with their service so far (we all know the slow shipping is the price we pay for their better than average prices), and I have read generally positive stories about them, but order cancellations is a subject I haven't seen discussed.

I cancelled my order for Snatch with them when I saw Best Buy was going to have it for only $16.99 - I requested its cancellation about 5 or 6 days early and they confirmed my request via email the next day.

I haven't had any problems myself with this company in regards to cancellations. I ordered Bridge too Far and Traffic and successfully canceled both and received an email the next day of the cancellation. As for preorders I have had no problems also. The only problem I havd had was that I received to email when a shipment was made.
