dammn... this is a pretty good deal. Buy any 2 (or more) items--in any combination--from the Books, Music, Video, or DVD product categories, excluding e-Books... and get free shipping.... however you have to wait for all the items to ship together

hmm...... although now that I'm looking at the site (and note this is an informal survey) it looks like they might have increased their prices.

You must have your shipment selection marked as 'One shipment when complete order is ready' to receive the free shipping discount.
Also I had a few pending orders for upcoming releases. After seeing the new promo I figured it was worth a shot and emailed amazon asking if they would be willing to apply the free shipping to these existing orders. Although Amazon never responded back, as of yet, when I checked my orders today I noticed that they had applied the free shipping discount to the existing orders.
Update:
You might be able to adjust the shipping costs on your own as well. I still had a preorder placed for only one item ( a box set) that still had the old shipping costs. Instead of sending off another email to Amazon I decided to see if I could fix it myself. All I had to do was change the Shipping Method, i.e. form standard to next day and then back to standard, and the new shipping costs were reflected.
