Why does CH's site suck so badly?

I'm baffled as to why a company with such an immense cash flow for the last 30 years can't have a better frickin website than this. I used to think BMG's site was crap but CH's has stayed in the same sorry state while BMG's has actually improved quite a bit.
Every other time I try to go there the site doesn't work right...pages load slowly or not at all and I get an error message. I'm an an excellent cable connection too.
