Does anyone know if Amazon will credit the difference in price for an item that has recently dropped in price? I bought The Man With No Name Trilogy less than a month ago, and it's about $12 cheaper now. I paid with a gift certificate, so I'd be happy getting the difference back as a gift certificate.

Good luck with amazon.

I've always had better luck with price protection on my Credit Cards. I recently snagged up $190 for a price drop on a digital camera I bought 60 days ago. The CC company protection often lasts for 90 or 180 days.

Call and tell them you want to return it and that you're going to reorder it at the cheaper price. They gave me a GC for an order I placed and it had been 2 months.
