they mixed the DVD's and VHS on the shelfs. it is so yucky. it sucks too cause i was glancing over the DVD's(so i thought) and saw Jaws 2 for 9.99..then i notice it was VHS. yuck.
i did the same thing about 10 times.
why would they do such a thing? they must of been really bored.

The Best Buy here in Clearwater, FL did the same thing. Maybe they are actually trying to phase out VHS and just put them all together until they get rid of them. Probably wishfull thinking, but it's a thought......

Perhaps the employees are so dumb that they can't tell the difference between DVD and VHS. They figured they were all movies and put them together
The next thing I wanna see is they switch the price tags on them...

I was in Tower recently and all the kids movies (and anime) are all mixed VHS and DVD. I pity the parent that buys their kid some tentacle porn by mistake!

Well, our Best Buy just opened its doors on Friday, and the sections are seperate.
Not quite the depth of catalog I was hoping for; I'll still be buying most stuff online... Here's hoping the sections stay segregated! Seperate but unequal!!

Wonderful, I work for a Best Buy store. I have not heard of us doing this, and I hope that we don't. What we have done recently is alphabetize all of the VHS tapes, and take out the catagories. We are supposed to get shelves in that resemble those that the video tapes are on, (the ones without the basket-type gaurd holding them in), but they will be bigger. The DVD will go on these. Also, there are about 4 different concept Best Buy stores, and some things are different in each. Gosh, i hope they don't do that too us.

Perhaps they think that customer "Joe" comes in looking for a DVD. It's not in stock, but look they have the VHS! So Joe leaves the store happy he got his movie.
