I just placed my first order at this e-tailer a couple of weeks ago. I ordered Traffic which was released on Tues. the 29th. I still haven't received a shipping notice.
Are delays of this sort with DDD normal? Do they send notifications once items ship?

I have found Deep Discount to be very inconsistent about shipping preorders. I recently received 3 DVDs that were preordered a week ahead of the release date. While I have two others going on two and three weeks past the release date that still have not shipped, and are listed as being on back order. I should say that I think one of them shipped recently since a new charge appeared on my credit card.

I also found they will ship many orders without notifying you. I usually find a charge on my credit card before the DVD arrives, so when a charge appears than I start looking for a DVD in the mail.

I think all eshops are very inconsistent. If you don't like waiting then go to a B&M store.
