I noticed that my HP gc has no expiration date on it and was wondering generally when gcs expire. Are they usually good for one year or two from the date of issue? I have a couple other non-promo gcs that do have expiration dates and then others that don't. Some of the ones that do expire a year from date of issue or two or sometimes six months after date of issue. Is it possible that my HP gc doesn't expire (doubtful) or did they just forget to put the expiration date on there? Thanks...

I think it's supposed to be a year after issue - ie a year after Amazon sent it to you - but I was told in the DVDTalk chat tonight that if you go to use the code and it says it has expired, call the customer service number, ask for an "order specialist", tell them it expired, and they'll re-enable/reissue the code. If you need to, tell them you live in California; the GC fine print always says they don't expire in CA.
