I'm glad to hear that.

Yeah, I get migraines, so I'm familiar with splitting headaches. Last night I fell asleep at 9:30 and today I was so tired I just couldn't stay awake so I took a nap. Thus the tongue in cheek comment.

The thing that worries me about Coronavirus is that the symptoms may not be clear as to what it is until you're starting to get seriously sick. It may seem like the usual shit, and then go south on you.

I know there's really nothing compelling to talk about in sports right now, so traffic in sports is light. But more good news

Maybe some knuckleheads will listen to NFL players if they are still socializing in groups and not practicing social distancing.

Your statement isn't funny at all, as this site is littered with people who make dumb/unfunny statements whenever someone is sick/dies that they don't like. I'm suprised the mods allow this crap as it makes our site look like a bunch of idiots.

They’ve allowed several threads whose only purpose is objectifying women for years.

We have members who have openly agreed to the idea of letting thousands of people die to "save the economy" and a thread about how attractive certain women are regularly gets bumped in the TV section. What is this "tact" you're looking for?

Hey, it's how attractive people are, not just women, remember?

I take umbrage at that statement. My IQ is 43 so I am actually an imbecile and not an idiot.

Even if we're given an all clear in say 2-2 1/2 months. I think for it might be too tight or too difficult for the players to get into the proper shape and conditioning to participate in a major like this.

Aside from working out in your home gym and doing exercises at home, these guys will not have played in any competitions for almost 4 months.

That's why I have my doubts about the NBA being able to finish their season.

NBA Players IMO would probably need at least a short 2-3 week practice/training camp to get back into game shape again. It's not impossible. The league would need to re-do the schedule to make that work.

A big tennis tournament and having that date already booked makes things more challenging for tennis players.

Coronavirus isn't going to be gone when they play though. They'll have to accept that risk.

I hope you're right, I'm cautiously hopeful.

Remember that these players come from around the world. To make it fair, they'd have to wait for the corona virus to be gone from all these countries, not just one. Things might be fine in England, but not in Australia or the US.

As someone else said in the tennis thread, I don't think there will be tennis at all for the rest of the year.
