This has probably been the best Chiefs game of the year.

Re: 2019 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 13

Yet another phantom PI call leads the Broncos to a win over the Chargers.

Chargers just tied the score with a FG with time running out but Denver still had enough time on the clock to throw a long pass and of course, they called PI on LA Chargers even though the Broncos WR ran into the defender.

Both teams are 4-8 so it really doesn't matter but everyone would be screaming up a storm if a playoff spot was on the line during this kind of game.

They are playing the Raiders which is not a hard team to beat.

Robbie Gould does not have it anymore.

I wonder how good the Niners offense could be if they had guys that could pass block on every play and not let the QB get hit on every play?

The Bills and Steelers game has been flexed to primetime in week 15.

Good stop by the Texans to not allow any yards and keep them out of FG range.

I wonder if NFL is afraid to show a Vikings home game in prime time?

The Patriots don't look unstoppable like they did at the beginning of the year.

I wish the Vikings played all their games on Sunday afternoon.

They did play Washington in prime time at home on TNF this season.

They play Green Bay at home in prime time on Dec. 23rd.

Houston playing tough but dropping interceptions right and left. Should have at least 3 tonight.

Actually, I was mocking the Chargers' "home game" in San Diego LA. It's gonna be a sea of purple in the Chargers - Vikings game.

Only the Chargers could find new ways to lose on a weekly basis.

Vinatieri will probably retire after this year. But I did enjoy his struggles today, especially that blocked kick that got returned for a TD.

NBC got really screwed in the month of December and that is the best they can come up with?

A 3rd string QB gets two SNF games this one and the Chargers game in October.

49ers @ Ravens, 49ers @ Saints, and Chiefs @ Patriots all should have been on Sunday night and not stuck in the 10am window though Chiefs @ Patriots (1:25pm) was locked in by CBS before the season and no way to change the network for that game.

The refs must have had a dinner date or something because they gifted Broncos that win with the call.

The fact its supposed to be nasty weather scares me even more. The 49ers struggled to beat the Redskins in nasty weather, only scoring 9 points. The Ravens put up 30 on the Seahawks in Seattle in the rain. I wouldnt be surprised if the final score is something like 42-16 Ravens. The 49ers have trouble with mobile QBs. I hope Im wrong.

Maybe it is crazy talk but the Saints might be a easier game to win.

Saints don't have a scrambling QB and Brees does not throw the deep ball and their O line is plagued with injuries.

My first reaction was that Casey Hayward was screwed by the call when I saw it live. But on the replay view from the end zone he definitely veers away from the flight of the ball (because he doesn't know where it is) and into the receiver's path knocking him off his route to the ball. I changed my mind and I think it was a good call. If he had kept running straight, no call.

Amari Cooper might leave the Cowboys after playing there for only 1 and a 1/2 seasons

They gave up all those draft picks for nothing

After the New England loss, could Buffalo sneak in as division champs? The 21st should be some battle.

And it's not like Cooper didn't pan out or quit on the team. They had three star players at premium positions who were due for huge raises and can't really afford to pay all three. No big surprise really.

Re: 2019 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 13

I just hope the Patriots' recent drop in quality, culminating in last night's loss, is the final "end of the dynasty" we've heard so often, and not the impetus for them to mount another late season resurgence and playoff run.

I don't think Pats fans know how good they have it. Hell, their last three Splendid Bowl opponents have all fallen to mediocrity or worse already, with two pretty much assured to be on the outside come post-season, and another looking to back their way in, in the worst division in the NFL.

But they will never get those 1st round picks back which could have been used on players that could have sticked with the team for a decade or more.

It was shocking how they had less talent than the Rams and Chiefs and still won the Super Bowl last year.
