He plays like JaMarcus Russell.

So far only two watcheable TNF games Eagles @ Packers and Rams @ Seahawks.

Only two good MNF games Texans @ Saints and Lions @ Packers.

Thursday nights have been a joke almost since the inception. Guys are not fully rested and healed from the Sunday beating they take. Shame on the owners for not properly taking care of their product.
If they really want to increase viewership then how about 2 Saturday games, the Sunday slate and 2 Monday games. Now I know that there will be a lot of Saturday backlash from the NCAA but the style of play is so vastly different that you really can't compare the two. Plus, all of the Fantasy Addicts will be pleased to have an extra day of having their FIX.

The style of play may be very different but the overlapping fanbases are probably significant. I'm sure the Thursday night game also brings in a ton of money and viewership, despite the quality of the games.

I bet the NFL owners would drop TNF in a heartbeat if the players agreed to a 18 regular season game schedule.

Will this Monday's game be the lowest rated in the history of MNF?
I'd wager yes and even take it a step further in that some would rather be kicked in the nuts instead of watching that flaming bag of #%&!

I have no idea how the Broncos are beating the Colts.

Watching the Bengals/Rams game. Happy the Rams are winning, but this Bengals team is horrible and they're not even remotely competitive. Their offense just stinks and I thought Zac Taylor being that he worked for the Rams was an offense guy. They're 0-7, they should just give up like the Dolphins and tank their season.

Probably not, as I'm sure there have been crappier games/teams on MNF at some point in its history.
Plus, the Steelers have a decently large fan base... and while their chances of making the post season are slim - they're still not ruled out just yet (Dolphins have no hope).

Apparently Drake will miss the game amid trade rumours. Would be a smart move for whichever team picks him up.

Canít believe how shitty the Colts have been on offense today. They should have blown the Broncos out of the building

No playoffs for the Bears this year, they left way too many points out there on the field. Should never have had to come down to that kick at the end like that. And try at least 1 more play there to get closer, they had almost 40 seconds after that run by Tribusky there.

That seemed like a weird decision by Nagy.

Amazed that the Colts ended up winning their game. Finally put together a nice drive there at the end.

So Winston with an improvement. Only four turnovers this week.

Do the Pats have the easiest schedule in the league?

Are referees fined if they call penalties on the Patriots or given bonuses if they call against teams playing the Patriots? Lots being called against the Browns today that are questionable.

It's gonna good year for Vegas / Sports books in general on the Super Bowls bets alone, as everybody and their mother decided to bet on the Browns and the Bears.

Both teams are probably gonna need an overhaul on the coaching staff. But, most likely both will get to stick around some more until things gets even worse by next year.

It looks like J.J. Watt is out for the rest of the season. I wonder if some of his injuries are from over training. I thought a lot of his training was overkill when I saw some of his routine back when the Texans were on Hard Knocks.

They play the Ravens next week but I don't see Lamar Jackson doing anything against that defense.

The Eagles might be healthier when they play and the road game at the Texans might be a challenge though with no Watt it becomes easier.

I don't like 18 games but I could live without TNF though those games get big ratings and it will be hard to tell FOX that TNF is over.

Mahomes would probably be playing right now if there was no TNF.

If they did that they should start the season in Aug since the next 4 or 5 years Super Bowls are already set and I don't think you can change the dates for those games and don't let the season go into the 2nd or 3rd week of February.

Tom Brady to the Chargers in 2020?

Replace one old QB with another old QB?

If Jimmy G struggles or falls apart sometime during this season maybe the Niners should go after him?

That was his favorite team as a kid.

Holy shit. Was checking the score at work and was 0-14 Pack. Then checked and halftime it's 17-14 Chiefs.

I guess week 8 really sucked. This was a pretty freaking dead thread for the NFL. Surprised there's no live play by play posts that these threads usually have.
