How many fantasy relevant WRs did the Raiders offense field last year? Did they make some coaching change or something? The whole reason AB was draftable was because he's AB, but I guess we'll see.

I’m hearing that AB unfollowed Carr and the Raiders.. lol. My 16 year old daughter did the same with her ex-boyfriend.

He is going to get released... I’m calling it now. I predict he’s a Patriot or Chief or Brown by week 6.

AB won't go to the Chiefs.

Jason La Canfora from CBS says that AB allegedly called Mayock something yesterday that will likely get him off the team. Doesn't have enough evidence yet to post what was supposedly said.

Now it's coming out that the Raiders haven't even paid him a dime yet. He lost out on $500k for not showing up for 85% of training camp. This guy is certifiable.

The best part of all this is thinking about all the times this season on Hard Knocks when Jon Gruden said something like "Man it's be great when we have AB out there. Look out. Knock of wood if you're with me".

At least he has a future in singing! Oh wait, he was the first one gone.

Seemed like the time right after this was taped (not aired) is when things starting getting restless with the Steelers.

Drew Rosenhaus was just interviewed on NFL Network. He basically said nothing, and clearly is trying to salvage his client's job and all that $$$$

Re: 2019 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 1

I don't think TO could pull off what AB did this year.

Maybe the helmet stuff did not really bother him and it is all part of a master plan to get out of Oakland?

Sucks since he is a exciting player and would have been nice to see him play for the local team.

Who is going to sign him? I don't think Belicheck or Andy Reid could ever put up with his antics.

The 49ers are trying to build something and he could get Shanahan and Lynch fired if he went there.

Re: 2019 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 1

If he didn't want to be in Oakland, why did he renegotiate his contract to get more money? He basically forced the Steelers to rescind the trade to the Bills, because he said he wouldn't report. I think he was fine being in Oakland, until he finally had an adult stand up to him and tell him to STFU.

Not much action so far, but at least David Montgomery had a couple nice carries.

Can't believe that was only the first game of the season. Felt like I was watching the Super Bowl.

Imagine being a life-long Packer fan watching it.

But then...

You can't have a better first game as a Packers head coach than knocking off Da' defending North Champion Bears in Chicago. Kudos to DC Mike Pettine and GM Brian Gutekunst for turning the defense around.

, Congrats GB and your new head coach.
I could watch that Bears defense all day. They were brilliant. Unfortunately that offense is worse than all female Ghostbusters

Bears need to run more having a qb like Trubisky .

The good news is that they drafted Montgomery. The bad news is that Nagy is still in his trick offense mode, and the back they currently use as their number one is more of a wide receiver. I'm not sure we see ground and pound.

Re: 2019 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 1

The magical season is over for the Bears and they are back to sucking again and losing again to Rodgers in Soldier Field which they always do.

They got lucky last year with the easy schedule. Trubisky sucks and they have to find a new QB.

How could they take him over Mahomes or Watson?

Packers or the Vikings are going to win the NFC North but if Cousins struggles then the Packers are a lock to to win it.
