Prize Structure

1st Place= $250
2nd Place= $100
3rd Place= $25

High score each week= $10 weekly
MVP Award (High Season Point total) = $25

We only want active participants who respond to trade requests, check the waiver wire, and play until the end of the season regardless of record.

Trades:

It has always been clear that trades are not vetoed unless collusion is suspected. That basically means that no matter how you individually view a trade, it will always be upheld unless someone suspects that two teams are working together for one to tank so the other can succeed. This is very unlikely to ever happen but if someone suspects that it is happening then, please email me your concerns. Outside of collusion- individual opinions of a trade should not matter. If the two teams agreed then the deal is done regardless someone’s opinion of the trade. With this said, trades normally complete with in 24 hours on ESPN. With the shortened NFL weeks now due to Thursday games, I will always try to push trades through before the 24 hours especially if they are impacted by an upcoming NFL game.

Trade emails:

Feel free to reach out to each other to discuss possible trades ahead of offers but by no means is this required. If you receive an offer, please just accept, counter or decline the trade. Please no comments via email or within the trade system itself, even if you do not like the offer. Please keep any email contact between each other respectful and if you can’t agree on a deal then move on. Any questions or concerns moving forward please email me directly.

Re: 2019 Auction Draft Fantasy Football League

The Crossville Comets are back. $55 is fine with me. My only conflict would be August 25th. The Free League and The All Star League are drafting at 5pm and 7pm Central. I can send Paypal as soon as we have a confirmed 10 owners returning.

I just plugged in a day and time for the draft so nothing is set in stone by any means. Last year we did it the week before this but it feels like too far out. The next weekend is Labor day weekend and that is typically hard. I am open to potential alternative dates or another time on that Sunday the 25th. I checked your league and this time worked with it but I didn't realize there was a free league that day as well.

The 18th might be our best bet. I know we have a lot of people in all 3 leagues. 3 drafts in one day would be brutal. Especially an auction draft, which is typically our longest draft.... I have other drafts on the 30th and 23rd. I also have two other leagues where we haven't set our draft dates.

I'll bump this up. This league is looking for new and returning members. The Auction Draft is a very fun and unique experience. Please post if you're interested in joining. I'd hate to lose this league.

I’m in again. But I say we up the fee. Say $65? $75? More prizes and bigger pot maybe? Otherwise $55 is fine.

Re: 2019 Auction Draft Fantasy Football League

I would be down for a little more but that's up to everyone else. At this point I still have not heard from 4 of the 10 and my buddy is out this year for sure so we will need at least one spot filled.

Re: 2019 Auction Draft Fantasy Football League

I was thinking that we might need to lower it. It might be hard to get new owners with that steep of an entry fee.

Most people play in online leagues for fun and a little side fantasy football action. They're usually already in a big money work or family and friends league.

This is actually my smallest buy-in of my three leagues that I play in . My big money league is $400 buyin but I understand that may not be the case for everyone. I am open to lowering buyin a bit if that will help us fill the league. I donít want entry fee to hinder someone from joining.

We will keep it the same as last year $55 for now unless others feel the same. Iíll reach out to family/friends again to see if I can fill open spot.

Awesome! I also found a coworker to replace my friend who is out this year. So just need to hear from DVDJosh. Iíll try and update thread this weekend and start to take buyins as well. Sounds like $55 is good for almost everyone still.

Also since 25th looks like it wonít work, would anyone have issues with following Sunday (Labor Day) weekend? Or if not, maybe a weeknight?

They are definitely fun! The one Iím in has been around 15 plus years. Iíve been in it for about 5. We normally meet at bdubs for draft but some have drafted remotely in the last few years as they have moved away or new people joined. Iím not the commissioner and Iím not sure if it will be full this year or not yet but would you be interested if there is a spot? Buy-in is either $300-400 depending on what everyone agrees on. Weekly prizes, division prizes and MVP. Top three get payout and last year first place was $1300.

Re: 2019 Auction Draft Fantasy Football League

Ok- I got confirmation that my co-worker will take my friends old spot as long as draft is not on 24th-25th weekend which we have already determined won't work for others. So we just have not heard from DVDJosh to see if Gridiron Law is back or not. Everyone else is confirmed and I have actually started receiving payments from owners (Thank you BearFan). I have updated OP above and I will start to accept payments. I updated payment deadline to the 14th so that gives everyone else 10 days to get payment in. I'm hopeful that DVDJosh will respond and join but if not, I feel confident that we can find a replacement if needed.

If interested, please post below and you can take Gridiron Laws spot if I do not hear from him by the end of this upcoming week.

Remember, nothing about fantasy football in payments- just team name.
