The problem was he hit him high (head/neck). If he hit him lower, no penalty.

Yeah, this is correct. The penalty only applies if it's a hit to the head/neck area. A shot like that without knowing it's coming can cause whiplash real easy.

Wasn't there a literal clothesline on a play? Granted it was on an RB and the play was called back ,but was that going to be a penalty if it wasn't?

It looked like a clothesline but it wasn't. If you watch the replay, the guy only had his hand on the other player's chest. He must be a beast because that alone was enough to stop the other player and take him to the ground. It wasn't forearm against neck, proper clothesline.

Rams do for sure. Seahawks? I donít know about that. Besides, the Rams had more talent then the Pats. Howíd that turn out?

At least it was close enough to give Tony Romo a chance to break out a "Longest Yard" reference.

Jesus. Awful story. 39-year old man with ALS was given free tickets to the Super Bowl by a non-profit. He was killed when a fire broke out in the van his father and brother were driving him in on the way to Atlanta the day before the game.

Yeah but everybody in the league has more talent than the Niners and they should have the #1 pick since they lost to AZ twice and have not beaten AZ since Dec 2014.

Don't they do this last year too? Start playing well when they're already out, giving the fanbase some hope for the future, then the next year, nothing? Granted these are extenuating circumstances and Kittle looks awesome.

The Niners fool everybody when they win some games in Dec when the other teams overlooked them or were out of the playoff race.

They better not draft a project with the 2nd pick and better get a impact pass rusher and not some stiff like Solomon Thomas again or a loser like Reuben Foster.

They donít fool anyone. Every year, they suck and win just enough to hurt their draft position. This year, they actually had talent instead of hoping random player A will turn the franchise around.

That absolutely horrible. I hope that his family achieves a measure of solace in knowing that at least he never had to watch that game or the halftime show.

The whole division is weird. Like the 49ers owned the Rams until last year (that one year those were their only two wins). And when the Rams sucked they owned the Seahawks for some reason.

Some guy won a prop bet for $100,000 when the Rams only scored 3 points. It cost him $250.

That guy's wife and friends were all calling him an idiot. They were one of the top scoring teams and were the number scoring at least for a while. Who would have the balls to drop $250 on that?

Can you even imagine how nervous he was when they went for that second field goal in the final seconds of the game?

Nick Mullins ruined their shot at the #1 pick but maybe that was the only positive from 2018 where the backup QB is not a huge liability anymore since CJ Beathard sucks.

NFL Network's Mic'd Up of the Superbowl kinda showed that McVay was totally outcoached and the game was lost before it even started.

But anybody who talks to the boy genius gets a head coaching job?

The Bears should sign Matt Bryant.

Someone won $10,000 betting that Brady's first pass would be intercepted.

I liked the $2 parlay that paid $1200 on first-pass-INT & no-TD-first half.
