On a personal note, with the new forum redesign, it seems that I can no longer format the table like I used to do for the NFL schedules. Will someone in this forum be willing to help me out so I can create a table with the appropriate spacing under the forum new setup? If you are able, please PM.

Edit - Nevermind, they disabled HTML for security reasons. Post #265 in this thread indicates this.

I'm already fearing the worst for the Chiefs, but good news for Saturday is that it might snow. The Chiefs might have the advantage with the Colts being a Dome Team.

Well, I'm primarily a Chiefs fan, but the only other team I root for is the Colts since I lived in Indianapolis for a few years around the Millennium. I'm glad that I 100% will have a rooting interest in the AFC Championship game next week, but this Saturday will be rough for me regardless. Mixed emotions for sure.

Well, not the happiest when the Chargers moved from San Diego but will definitely be rooting for them against the Patriots.

Want to win: Chargers/Colts or Chiefs (either is fine)/New Orleans
Don't care either way: Rams
Hope team gets swallowed by a sink hole: Cowboys/Patriots/Eagles

I think the home team takes it in every game, but I think the Chargers are the one team that have legit shot to win on the road.

Re: 2018 NFL Playoffs - Divisional Round 01/12/2019 and 01/13/2019

The only game I got right last week was the Colts.

I hope I go 1-3 with my picks this week.

Please Andy Reid don't blow it again this year!!!

I hope they win but the Colts are red hot and undefeated 4-0 vs the Chiefs in the playoffs.

The Chiefs have to be firing on all cylinders and not choke again and can't lose their 7th straight home playoff game.

Be ready Andy be ready!!!!!!

Don't let Luck come from behind and score the winning TD like Mariotta did in 2017.

I picked all the home teams this week. I went 0-4 last week. Hopefully that trend continues.

Colts have been practicing outside to prepare for the game. Plus their weather is similar to here.

Pulling for the Chargers on Sunday, but DAMN this is amazing :

This year’s Patriots are not the unassailable juggernaut they usually have been, though they literally have been unbeatable at home (where they’ll be this week). In fact, come kickoff, it will have been 470 days since the Pats last lost a home game of any sort and 2,185 days since they fell at home in the playoffs.

^ not to split hairs, but the Pats 2,185 is the second-longest streak. The Browns haven't lost a home playoff game since the earth cooled.

There are probably a few teams that fall into that logic that would be ahead of Pats. I don't think the Lions have lost a home playoff game since '94.

Re: 2018 NFL Playoffs - Divisional Round 01/12/2019 and 01/13/2019

I also went 0 for 4 last week. I am picking all four home teams this weekend, although the NFC matchups seem much less likely to produce upsets than the AFC matchups.

Even as a lifelong Pats fan, I am kind of rooting against them this time. That said, they do seem to always find a way to win playoff games at home so I just can't pick against their history.

Why didn't the Chargers arranged a stay on the East Coast to cut travel expenses and two cross country flights in back to back weeks?

It might seem they would be overlooking the Ravens but they could have set up something where they can stay and practice on the East Coast?

The Saints will wear one of the ugliest unis in the NFL again vs the Eagles

They always win when they wear those hideous things.

Why not bring back the gold pants and have some contrast?

Snowed overnight. Crews worked overnight clearing the field. Occasional bands of snow rest of the day. Shouldn't be very heavy.

In other news, Eric Berry won't play but Sammy Watkins will.

Two amazing stats for the day :

The Colts have won as many Playoff games in Arrowhead Stadium (2) as the Chiefs have.

This will be the 9th Playoff meeting between the Rams and the Cowboys, the most between any two teams in the NFL. They are currently 4-4 all-time.

I saw that one too and was a little surprised. I know they met a lot in the 70s. Surprising record given the Rams playoff struggles in that decade.. Outside of 1 season, it was Cowboys/Rams/Vikes ruling the NFC.

I would have guessed Cowboys/Niners with multiple meetings in the 70s and 90s and The Catch.
