Iím usually on the same page as you Deck, but I have to disagree with your statement. ANYTHING is addictive if you have mental issues that make you prone to addictions ... McDonalds, TV, hoarding. The addiction to marijuana is not a physical addiction, it is a mental one. It is self medicating, no different than somebody who drinks or take perscription drugs to cope with life.

The Broncos lost to SF and I would not be shocked if they lost in Oakland.

If Josh Gordon can't make it in NE his NFL career is over.

Just hope he gets his life together.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 16

And that pick-6 just flipped a lot of money between for the O/U and Ten (if you bet them early). LOL

I never thought the Skins had a chance in this game, so that they played basically even up was impressive. The players want to play for Gruden which means I think he deserves another year....as everyone knows the problem with franchise is higher than him.

The DL is so good...did everything. The secondary is awful.

Josh Johnson - he basically played his way on a roster next year. I don't know what the minimum is now, but huge for him and deserves it.

This loss is a blessing in disguise for the Skins. Had they somehow slipped into the playoffs, they would be destroyed by the Rams or Bears. Don't allow Snyder to brag about it. Everything besides the D-Line and the O-Line (if their guards recover) needs to be blown up. And god knows what Alex SmIth's status will be. If he's done (his recuperation sounds lengthy), they don't get cap relief.

Happy that Henry didn't destroy them. He should have....the Titans didn't go to him in the 1st half after the first TD.

Wow, Ravens couldn't ask for a better first two plays than that.

Harbaugh - a fade? With Lamar? On 4th down? Up 3 with your D dominating? Really?

Was just thinking how this would be a great test for Rivers, 2:55 and a chance to drive for the win and Gates coughed it up. This should be upheld...

Onions performance by the Ravens. D was awesome. Only TD was after the turnover.

Now don't choke like you did last year vs an Ohio team in Week 17.

Saints vs Ravens in Super Bowl 53?

I hope not.

Regarding that Chiefs-Seahawks game : Betting tip. Seattle is a 2 point home underdog. Since 2011, Seattle is 11-1-1 ATS as a home dog. Seems like a smart game to bet.

Just seen a stat at NFL Network(most of their stats are pointless and meaningless) that Tom Brady is only completing 53.6 percent of his passes on third down(worst of career).

Not optimistic, but this team has surprised me this year (including last week, unfortunately).

Zach Ertz sets the single season reception record for a TE and fumbles on the record setting catch.

Foles to Agholor for the 83-yard bomb.

Amazing numbers--he's not on my team this year so I didn't notice.

Re: 2018 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 16

Philly goes up by 13 with another big catch from, you guessed it, Ertz. Yet another missed PAT.

Potentially huge win if the Eagles can hold on. If I am not mistaken, a Texans lost drops them back into the #3 seed in the AFC (NE beat them in week 1) and the Pats only have to beat the lowly Jets in New England next week to win out.

That also leaves two delicious divisional games next week to decide who gets the last NFC playoff spot. The Vikings will have to beat Chicago (in Minneapolis) to get in or hope that the Eagles lose on the road to Washington.

Big fumble by Watson leading to that score.

Ugh, drama as the Texans get their own turnover (and help from a highly questionable personal foul call) to cut the lead to 6.

Watson. That was amazing avoidance to keep the play alive.

Yeah, and Watson had a nice scramble and throw for a score to get Houston within range on the previous drive.
