So looking at the standings and how bad some teams are, there could be as many as 8 or 9 firings by tomorrow.

I think Gase could be a dark horse candidate to be fired with wholesales changes needing to be made in Miami. They need to overhaul that roster up and down. It doesn't matter that they won 7 games. This team is going nowhere.

We reported yesterday at NFL Network that Gase could be fired. Apparently the Dolphins owner is really unhappy with how their season went.

7 wins with their roster is pretty miraculous IMHO. Tannyhill is a terrible QB. And they really don't have anyone of note at WR.

In a preemptive move, the Jets have already fired their next new head coach and have begun the search for successor.

Would like to see the Skins pick up Bowles for defensive coordinator.

Wouldn't mind it at all. Or for Head Coach.

I can hardly believe it. Of all years they had the perfect excuse this year since they had Jeff Driskel passing to Josh Malone and John ross to end the season. Not that I wanted them to keep him, but they've kept him for less reason before.

If not for the Raiders they would have lost all their games after their bye. 1-7.

I don't know how Marvin Lewis didn't get fired after that Steelers playoff game when Vontez Burfict knocked out Antonio Brown.

You definitely can't accuse the Bengals of not being loyal. Honestly that makes the job opening attracted to me, as opposed to the Cards and Broncos who look to fire coaches after only a year. The comfort of building a team with some leeway should be enticing, although that is going to be a tough division for the forseeable future.

BTW : Why is Pete Carroll on that poll? He will be getting Coach of the Year votes.

Maybe Deftones can answer this but how horrible was Wilks to get fired after just one season? Hue Jackson survived more than one season in Cleveland.

I assumed there were a few on the poll because it was possible they may quit (retire). I still think Bill could end up returing if Brady does. And f they win again (groan), or Brady gets hurt, I could see it happening.

Re: Black Monday 2018 -- Which NFL coaches will be fired/quit?

From watching the few Cardinal games it didn't look like he was ready to be a HC. Plus they seem to need a HC that is more focused on offense. I heard at least one report of him going back to the Panthers.
