I read that orange is a soothing color. Maybe the Seattle defense will be lulled to sleep.

LOL

Honestly I hate to say it but maybe the Seahawks dominate early and the Broncos make the game competitive in the late 3rd and 4th quarter against a Seaturds prevent defense with a couple of Peyton garbage TDs.

Broncos 0-3 wearing orange jerseys during the Super Bowl

When the Seahawks offense is on the field that is the perfect time to take a bathroom break.

My friend who works at Children's Hospital said Russell Wilson came in today to visit with patients as he always does.

Blasphemy Dan!! Broncos all the way!! (Why not us?) We've been playing well, our defense is underrated, hopefully with all the Sherman business we'll just fly under the radar, go in there and get a W.

I can't stand Peyton Manning but will be rooting for the Broncos because the Seahawks can't win a SB before the Eagles.

Because I think the gap between Hawks O and Broncos D is greater than the gap between Hawks D and Broncos O. I hope I'm wrong.

The new supreme court building here has an inscription at the entrance, that says "and justice for all" (in the gold lettering you can barely see). On the four columns below are giant banners that say "GO BRONCOS!"

So the Broncos winning will be justice for all, right?

Good point, but I think the our D is underrated, everybody said the Pats run game would kill us and we shut it down. The secondary, with the injuries I can see your point.

Not to over simplify the game, but I think it is all about pass rush and pass protection and if the O line gives Manning and Moreno the time and blocking it did in the first two games, I think we have a real shot.

Trust me, I've lived and died with the Broncos since the Elway days growing up and know all Colorado teams are inconsistent and have tendencies to lay big eggs, so it's cautious optimism, but I just have a feeling about this year.

I think LurkerDan's assessment is correct. But I still want the Seahawks to lose. And I like Russel Wilson. And the Seahawks have Michael Robinson and Jordan Hill. I want to root for them but cannot.

Fucking Joe Jurevicius has scarred me for life.

I could die a happy man knowing that Pete Carroll never has a Super Bowl ring.

It is going to be in the 30's so I doubt we have to worry about the Red Hot Chili Peppers coming out with just socks on their cocks during the half time show with Bruno Mars.

This is one of the things that make RW a great leader, which a QB must have in the NFL, along with...
-Confidence
-Strong Body
-Forgetting the paste good and bad plays
-Pin point passing
-Nimble feet
-Good decision making
-Quick mind
-Good Character
-Strong arm
-Fast runner

Being from Seattle and friends with a family that he visited in the Hospital, I have tons of respect and appreciation for the man (and his wife).

That plus the urban legend that their Blue uniforms were a jynx. I seem to remember a regular season "home" game that Pittsburgh wore White so they would have to wear their Blue uniforms. That was a long long time ago though.

I believe Pittsburgh also wore their whites in the Super Bowl against Seattle (even though they were the home team that year) because they had made it there with their white uniforms (#6 seed with all their games on the road).

As nice as it would be for Seattle to win their first ring, it's hard to root against Peyton - he's such a class act and this might be his last Super Bowl. This is one of the few match-ups where I don't have a favorite...I like both teams a lot. But in the end, I'll probably wind up rooting for Denver.

Have only seen a little chatter about Manning pulling an Elway and retiring if he wins. I wonder what people's thoughts are about this possibility.

Fox Sports will use Super Bowl XLVIII as a showcase for its online and mobile authentication service for pay-TV subscribers, offering a free, one-day “preview” of Fox Sports Go during TV’s biggest event.
