"In order for it to be a forward pass it's gotta go forward!"

I'm really tired of the whistle blowing nonsense. Who cares if the whistle blows as it doesn't matter or have any affect on the play itself? That should have been a backward pass and a fumble as the receiver didn't get ahold of the ball.

Well the argument is, since the whistle blew the Pittsburgh players may have given up and not tried to recover the ball.

Not saying I buy that. In particular in this case...but that is the argument.

The whistle blowing itself should not negate you from being able to argue and possibly overturn a particular pass play. They use the whistle argument like it somehow alters what just happened from the snap to possession of the ball by someone other than the qb. If there is replay then it shouldn't matter.

Sorry guys, that last TD drive was my fault. I was out of Orange Crush and forgot to refill my glass.

They could have still thrown the red flag and it would have likely been ruled a backward pass (fumble). But since they blew the whistle the instant the ball hit the ground, the ball was going to go back to Pittsburgh. So Denver would have pushed them back only a yard or two and wasted a review.

Well again, I might not agree on this play. But the argument is players "give up" when they hear the whistle. So had they not blown the whistle we don't know if a pittsburgh player may have been the one to recover.

If Denver pulls this off and wins can you imagine what the media is going to be like this week? Tebow vs. Brady II?

It's too bad that facemasks have to be seen by the officials on the field and can't be whistled down from the replay booth. If they're called to protect the players then they should be called 100% of the time.

Mcgahee is a fumble master. That guy has killed momentum several time this year.

That is funny. Who is the retard in Denver's booth that decided to challenge that. It is obvious as all get out that it is a fumble. Dumb ass should lose his job for that decision, wasting a time out.
