So if it's Florida vs. Tampa Bay in the World Series, how many fans show per game? 15,000? 20,000 maybe?
Even better is to just consider the fact that MLB would have to showcase their World Series at the Tropicana Dome.

well.. if they would schedule the games to be done before 6pm.. they might be able to pack the stadium with the old people in florida that are normally asleep by 6:30
but they will take a big hit on the senior citizen discount

Friendly reminder for you fantasy nerds that Jay Bruce (he who mashed the shit out of the ball in AAA at a .364/10/39/8stl -- in 40-something games -- clip) has been called up by Cincy. He's currently available in Yahoo format without having to use a waiver wire (listed as NA).

I like how you know who this guy is but didn't know who Jesse Litsch was.

I predict you will say something about him playing for Toronto.

What a shitshow at safeco.
First Dice-K gets yanked with an injury.
Then on a check swing call, 3B ump calls it no swing, and then points at Lugo playing ss and tosses him.
Tito comes out, pulls Lugo off, goes back out asks the ump what happened. The ump tells him. Tito says something to him and then gets tossed a second later.

Sounds like he'll now be a regular customer for that contraption they hook Papelbon up to every day.

Goofy ending for the Twins last night, but they ended up getting the W eventually. It's just too bad Blackburn went from almost getting a complete game shutout to a no decision.

Looked like the umpires were playing favorites with the Yankees in the ninth inning. It was pouring rain with New York at bat and the umps refused to call for the tarp but as soon as the half inning was over out comes the tarp and Trembley comes out and argues about it.He should have came out with Girardi and both could have argued about it or come out and make a pitching change. The playing field should be the same for both teams. How the hell are the Orioles suppose to see the ball in the field but they wait for it too stop raining so the Yankees can see everything as clear as a bell.At least the Orioles won the game.

Now when they had a very similar situation last year they were indeed screwing the O's over then.
