first place team has offered me (2nd place team) McNabb for Brees straight up....and my first instinct is to say no! McNabb is #2 and Brees #3 in scoring so far in this league...w/ McNabb about 20 points more. He also has Colston, so maybe that's his incentive....

thoughts?

Clinton Portis is out for the season, which pretty much ends fantasy football for me this year... *sigh*

Julius Jones vs Indianapolis
or
Ladell Betts vs Tampa Bay

Anquan Boldin vs Detroit
or
Donte Stallworth vs Tennessee

1 point per 10 yards rushing and receiving. 6 points per touchdown. No points per reception. Thanks.

I'd definitely go with Jones over Betts for several reasons. Jones is going up against Indy, who has the worst yards-per-game run defense in the NFL. They're playing at home, and their offense is rolling along nicely right now. I'm guessing Indy will win the game, but Dallas will score points.

Washington has an inexperienced quarterback at the helm, and they're likely going to have some extreme pressure from Tampa, which means they'll probably be playing from behind. Washington will attempt to establish the running game right away, but may have to air it out quickly.

Stallworth has been performing this year (when he isn't injured), but I'd go with Boldin. Fitzgerald is back (lessening the pressure on Boldin), and Detroit isn't going to play the Cardinals as well as Dallas did last week.

Is Jason Campbell worth picking up? I have an extra spot on my roster so I wouldnt have to drop anyone. My QBs are Kitna and Trent Green.

I traded Eli Manning for Reggie Bush straight up. It sounds dumb but its PPR league and Bush gets a good amount of catches. I had Portis so I needed a replacement and Bush is only 8 points behind Portis in points in my league.

I have to decide between Trent Green and Eli Manning this week, Eli let me down last week but Trent is an unkown for me this year so i am torn on who to start

Some things to think about.

RB: S. Jackson
WR: Andre Johnson
WR: Terrell Owens

Need one RB and one Flex from the following:
Joseph Addai
Edgerrin James
Jamal Lewis
Lee Evans

Choose a D: Jacksonville or Miami

Thanks in advance.

Thinking Addai and Edge currently.

Romo vs Indy or
Rivers at Denver

My first instinct was Romo but I was surprised to see how stiff the Indy pass D has been and how soft the Denver pass D has been, although neither surrender many pass TDs.

Jones and Stallworth, assuming he's healthy.

I wouldn't start a guy in his first game back off a major injury, particularly when you have a solid starter in Eli.

Keep in mind that Marion Barber plays more and more as the weeks go on and he has 7 touchdowns and is the one used in goal line situations. So unless Jones breaks off a long run, I don't see him scoring. He basically played the entire 2nd half last week.

I made a few changes to my lineup last week and it cost me a victory, which would have given me 1st place. I have gone back to my original lineup, but I still have a question about one RB slot:

I had benched Edge for a few weeks in favor of Ahman Green, but I have him back in vs Detroit.

My other options:
Ahman Green vs New England
Marion Barber vs Indy
Deuce McAllister vs Cincy

I agree with this advice. Plus, the Raiders defensively (despite they're bad reputation) have actually been quite good against the pass. I don't think Manning will give you 2 stink-bombs in a row ... I'd play it safe this week, and hope Green gets back into the swing of things letting you play matchups for the FF home stretch.

I've been offered Darrell Jackson for Thomas Jones.
Both Seattle and the Bears have a pretty easy schedule remaining.

What would you do ?

Bush, Bell, Norwood and Turner aren't starting backs and don't get me many points.
Besides Jones, Tomlinson is really my only other back.

Yeah, thats a tough call. I really like Jackson, but unless you can get another RB to fill in, I don't think you can do it. Do you need WR help?

I have Donte Stallworth, B. Berrian, C. Henry and E. Kennison.
Stallworth was out for weeks and now Berrian is out.
I don't have a premier WR.

For QB, I have Palmer, Grossman and Carr.
I was planning on keeping Palmer and Grossman to the end in case one got hurt but now I'm thinking of trading Grossman for a WR or RB.
What do you think ?

Romo v. Indy or Kitna v. AZ or Delhomme v. StL? I've got Roy and KJ going already so Kitna is a make or break kind of deal. I've got Romo in now as he's been tearing it up. Indy isn't exactly a defensive juggernaut, and I expect lots of scoring. Could be a TO 3 td day.

I guess I would try to work Grossman into a trade so that you can get Jackson.

See what I said about the Indy D and Romo above. They're no juggernaut but they are soft against the run, not the pass.

This is a tough call. Yardage-wise, STL is far better than the AZ pass defense. However, STL has given up 5 more TDs than AZ has through the air.

I think I'd roll the dice and go with Delhomme.
