Who should I start as my second RB this week?
Chester Taylor @ Car or
Julius Jones @ Wash

I love this week - it is the week that so many FF owners panic.

I would love to say Jones since 1) I have him and 2) I'm a Cowboys fan, but with the way the Falcons ran all over the Panthers D, I would go with Taylor.

Bear in mind that the Falcs have been a very strong rushing team over the last several years.

Thanks for the advice. I think this is going to be a game time decision for me...

Chester Taylor had a good overall game, but did not start breaking runs until very late in the game. I think Jones makes the better play.

I got crushed this week due to Carson Palmer/Joey Galloway/Todd Heap/Tampa Bay Defense combining for a total of TWO DAMN POINTS. I've got TB defense and they're up against ATL this weekend, advice on whether or not they should bounce back and cause some turnovers against Vick. It seems like the best other options to pick up would be Miami D vs. Buffalo, or ATL D against TB.

I would go with Taylor, especially if you are in a PPR league. Hopefully the Taylor doubters will jump on board this week. I don't expect him to be a stud every week, but MIN will be using him plenty as both a RB and a receiving option.

I would play Jones until he gives you a reason not to play him.

I only lost by 9, but Palmer's quiet numbers really hurt. Cincy seemed to stick with the running game most of the day, but that's okay because I have Rudi as well. I'm sure Carson will have bigger numbers against Cleveland.

So far it doesn't look like he'll play. But wait till like Thursday for some real solid news on the Big Ben front.

I got rid of the Denver defense for San Diego against the Titans. Good move?

After their performance against Seattle I picked up Detroit's defense...having Tampa Bay give up 20 points helped make that decision, and to cover my bye week.

Now, who should I start for Def (FF points)? TAMPA BAY(1pt vs. Bal.) @ Atlanta OR DETROIT(15pts vs Sea) @ Chicago?

I know Vick can tear it up, and yeah, my Bears tacked on 26 vs. the Packers, but come on, it was against the Packer.

Thanks.

Ouch, a QB/RB combo? Granted, they're two of the best at their respective positions, but that's a tough one.

So who thinks Portis is going to pick up the full load this week? My third RB is Kevin Jones against Chicago, so I'm hoping Portis is back...

I would imagine Portis will get the bulk of the work next week.

I don't have a problem with a QB/RB combo, assuming they are both very good and play in a high-scoring offense. I had Favre/Green several years ago and they scored a ton of points for me.

Start Parker against a tough Jax defense or Gore (v. St.L) or Maroney (NYJ)?

I had the Tampa D and I am trying to decide whether to stick to them or use the SD Defense against the Titans. I am also debating trying to trade for Baltimore or Indy D.

Also I am trying to decide if I should use Reggie Wayne this week since he is against the Texans. but my two starting receivers are Chad Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald so it is hard to replace one of them.

I need to fill 2 RB spots. My choices are:

Green vs. Saints
Portis vs. Dallas
Foster vs. Panthers
James vs. Seahawks

Any recommendations?

Most definitely Gore based on two things. The matchup and his last week's performance. This guy is SF's offense right now and although Parker is always a solid play, he has a tougher matchup.

In fact, I would highly recommend trading Gore if he has another solid outing. I think his value will be sky high and tougher times are bound to be ahead of him with SF's poor team. Plus he has a long history of serious injuries, so if you can get better than expected value for him, go for it now before he cools off...

I don't think Foster is playing the Panthers

I would go with your two studs, Portis and James. Portis should be carrying close to a full load (but keep an eye on the reports) and the Cardinals are truly committed to getting James upwards of 25 touches a game. While Green had quite the surprsing effort against Chicago last week, I would give him some more time to prove he is back before starting him. Foster shouldn't even be considered with these other guys on your roster.

Foster vs. Vikings, I meant. Hadn't had my morning coffee yet. I'm leaning towards starting Portis and Green. I guess I have a conflict of interest, because I don't really want to root for James when he's playing the Hawks, but Green did put up some pretty solid numbers against the Bears. Foster would put up bigger numbers than last week if he were playing against the Panthers this week though . I've got Baltimore and Carolina as my defenses in this same league. Definitely having to go with Baltimore until Carolina can show me otherwise.
