Fenway's Indecipherable Seat Locations

Ok, anyone want to explain why Fenway Park's seating is such an indecipherable mess??? So, I'm thinking of trying to get tickets to a game there when I may be in Boston for a seminar, but I can barely figure out where any of the online broker listings are even located.....

Any Fenway regulars want to tell me approx. where Section 6 BX 92 Row D would be located??? How far from the field? Any sightline problems (as I remember this is a big issue at Fenway).

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Y2K. That was my impression, but listing them as Section 6, Box 92 was a bit confusing since there is a Section 6.... And the lettering starts at A and goes up as you move back from the field???

I appreciate the help.

It might start at AA.

Thanks to Y2K and Chris for providing some help...

Anyway, I picked up seats in Box 86, Row E. So five rows from the field in Right. Not bad. I've been to Fenway once before and sat in the stands down the 1B line but was much farther from the field. My wife has not been to Fenway before.

You already picked up your tickets -- I was going to suggest that if you hadn't already done so -- to wait until the day of the game.

I went earlier this year (granted it was April) to a Red Sox/Orioles game and picked up one ticket right behind home plate.

Can't do that anymore...I've tried. At this point tickets are going for 2-3x their face value, even bleacher seats.
