Lee Jenkins of The New York Times is reporting New York Mets 2B Jose Reyes (hamstring) underwent an MRI Friday that revealed his strained right hamstring has not healed, even after almost seven weeks of rehabilitation. The Mets announced Reyes would not be playing baseball for an unspecified period, and there is no timetable for his return. He could be out from two weeks to a month, or even more.

I'm starting to wonder if he'll play 50 games in ANY future year.

Ruben Sierra had 7 RBIs today. The Yankees won 12-4. They're on fire now.

The fact that Julio Franco, John Franco, Ruben Sierra, Benito Santiago, and Roger Clemens are still in the league keeps me awake at night.

I wonder where namja is to crap on them now. I told him that going with basic probability if they do average for their combined performances that they'd end up doing decently.

That's nice, one for every decade he's been in the league; way to go Ruben!

The Cardinals/Cubs game should be interesting tonight - we've had a lot of ran today. The outfield should be adventurous. Go 'Birds!!!

And keep up the good work Twins!!! Lew Ford for Rookie of the Year!!!

Good win by the Giants. AJ goes 3-4 with 2 RBIs. Bonds 4 intentional walks, most with no one on base.

not sure when ESPN added this
but I really like it

on the Game Update page
down below the current lineup, it has a REPLACED section.. that shows people that have left the game

I dont think Ive ever seen it on their site before.. so it has to be new

The Red Sox fell apart in the 7th. Now they are losing 3-2. The bullpen scoreless streak has ended.

The White Sox won the first of their double header today against Toronto.

Too bad Danny Wright is pitching the second game or they'd have a chance to take both.

The Red Sox lost game 1. The lack of hitting is going to start catching up to them. Hopefully Pedro can get a win in game 2.

The Shetland Pony aka Carlos Baerga with a huge 3 run pinch hit HR to put the D-backs ahead of the Phillies.
