Liked him when he was a Mariner, hated him when he was a Ranger, loved him when he was a Red Sox, hated him when he was a Yankee.

who really cares - just another overpriced crybaby ballplayer like ALL the rest. Go back to Willie Mays day when he played for the love of the game not money.

Hey now, A-Rod has never been a crybaby. Overpriced absolutely. But as gay as he may be, he's never been a crybaby.

neither has 95% of the players

but some people prefer to ignore that and just point out the crapheads in the league.

I heard he cried when Jeter took his virginity.

I do find it ironic when people called A-Rod a crybaby when he's one of the classiest ballplayers around. Maybe he can ask Joe Torre why he left him off the all-star team in '99.

I think you can even argue he's not overpaid. His salary this year is still in the low twenties (of millions), and given some of the other huge contracts around the league and the fact that A-Rod basically is a stud SS and a great offensive player, he's worth quite a bit. Of course salaries have actually begun to regress, but still what player would you rather spend money on?

As a Mariner fan, I have no problem with him. He may make way too much money, but he plays hard and is a class act.
