anyone else getting up early to watch the game? I'm going to bed now so I can get ~5 hours of sleep. This should work out well, as I have to leave for work around ten till eight.

I'll be up and watching. Im at work, so all I have to do is remember to turn on the tv. 5 am games should become the norm, IMO.

Is there any doubt I'll be watching the game? And I don't even have to do anything different since I'm up at that hour anyway.

4 hours baby!

And GO RAYS!

So did anyone catch Baseball Tonight? Is John Kruk going to be a permanent part of the team? I sure hope so. He's awesome! Direct, pulls no punches, has strong opinions, and he's not a moron like some of the guys who have been on the show in the past.

Just over an hour to go - I'll probably watch the first few innings, but no way I'm staying up for 3 hours to watch this game at 2am...

So I guess there are no announcers for the game. Gammons/Reynolds/Ravitch (sp?) will narrate the game from the ESPN studio. Interesting...

Yeah, but I think it's fine. In fact, I'm looking forward to listening to Gammons do color for the game.

They're not missing a single opportunity to advertise for Ricoh. On the batting helmets, the shoulder of the uniforms, the bats, and the wall behind the dugout.

I do agree that I like having Peter Gammons on the mic. But it would have been nice to have Berman calling the first dinger of the season.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm enjoying listening to these guys SO MUCH MORE than Jon Miller and freaking Joe Morgan. I mean, listen to these guys. So much great discussion and information. And not one mention of how great the Big Red Machine was.

The camera work sucks. You can hardly see the ball.
