Golfers what wedges do you carry part deux

Golfers: what wedges do you carry?
I carry a 52, 56, and 60. I've been thinking of going to a 50 instead of a 52 since my PW is a 46 instead of a 48.

The Titleist Vokey Oil Can and the Cleveland 900 Copper are what I think I might pick up this off season.

Adams strong pitching wedge - 46 and a 52 wedge.

I abandoned my lob wedge.

In addition, I now have substituted 3 iron for a 9 wood. I played 5 woods for 15 years. I'm now down to 4. If this trend continues, I'll be playing a 1 iron before long.

So what do you use around the greens?

You were playing 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 woods before? Wow! Have you seen those iron/wood combination clubs? They have the face of an iron (bigger than a 5/7/9 face) but the backside of a wood. Very nice clubs. What kinda woods you playing? Tight Lies? With their price under 80 dollars, I'm tempted to get a 7 wood or 9 wood for the heck of it.

Good luck on the 1 iron

60, 56 & 52 for me as well.

Although I still cannot hit the lob very well...unless I'm in a greenside bunker. That club has actually made being in the sand fun

Cleveland 588 RTG's *53 *56 *60

The *60 is money. Flops, flops, and more flops.
The *56 chips it. 65-80 yds shots.
The *53 is when I fell awkward. The gapper has some game in it. Probably my least used club besides my disgruntled 4 iron which has a bent shaft.

Cleveland 588 RTG 56*, 60*

I forgot to check the 53* (Mizuno MP29).. not sure the exact degree on that one though.

60* - like luddy, for flops, flops, and 65-90 yard shots with little green to work with.

56* - everything else, plus full swings up to 130 yards.

130 yds? The max I could hit mine with a hard controlled swing is about 95yds. Do you hit down on the ball? I probably give my wedges shots a higher trajectory.

yah, I hit down on the ball with pretty much all my irons 6 and lower.. 130 is max with perfect conditions (no wind), with the ball back in the stance and a forward press.. If there is any wind against me or its time to be conservative, I will hit a PW though.. I get a pretty high trajectory regardless of hitting down or not. Length is probably my biggest strength though.. I hit a 7-iron 185 yds with a normal full swing on a warm day.

edited to add: not quite a knockdown because it still goes very high. My knockdown SW goes about 85 yds.

If I take a full swing I could probably hit a 56 100 yards, but usually I take shorter swing and hit it 75 yards. 130 sounds like some sort of knockdown shot.

PW 48
SW 56
LW 64

I would switch to four wedges but I'm not sure what club I'd take out. I use my 2 Iron too much to take it out.

In essence I carry 4 wedges because I have my "set" PW which is 46* and then I carry 3 others:

Clev 588's:
Gunmetal Gap - 49*
Chrome SW - 56* (14* bounce)
RTG Lob - 60*

I also have a Vokey 58* SW with only 8* of bounce that I use instead of the Clev 56 when the sand is going to be wet or less soft.
