For the record, I am happy for many of the members on Anaheim's team. Good bunch of guys over there.

How can Eisner stand there with a big smile on his face when he is trying to unload the team?

GLaus for MVP. Neat.

I, for one, got tired of all the talk every single game about whether they should pitch to Glaus or pitch around him.

maybe Andy Rooney was talking about this 'woman' when referring to chicks who don't belong on the field reporting.

And enough of the shots of the damn kids in the Giants dugout!! Who gives a #@$% if Dusty's kid is crying??

Anyway, heartfelt congrats to Anaheim. I'm a lifetime NL fan but was pulling for the Angels the entire series. Partly because I just cannot stand SF, but mostly because it was their first time on the big stage. Great story.

Eisner has probably been a angels fan as long as John Travolta has.

Some thoughts...

1) BEST PLAYOFFS EVER. If you followed the Angels this postseason (and the season for that matter) you know what they went through. Can't wait for the DVD

2) I am so glad Bonds didn't win this. It makes it that much sweeter that my team beat the biggest prick in baseball. I'll be happy to see that man in pain, something I would never like to see otherwise.

3) Troy Glaus is gonna be a superstar. This is just the beginning.

4) Garret sure picked the right time to finally get goin' in this WS. He would've been the MVP if he hadn't sucked it up the other 6 games.

5) How 'bout that Game 6? Wow, that will haunt the Giants and the city of San Francisco for many years. Many things will haunt them, but that Spezio homerun was the big one.

Congrats to the Angels. Sorry to the Giant fans, I can't imagine how tough this is.

Okay, you can have my congrats too. But does $25 really make you happier that your Giants lost? Maybe you should have bet more.

Actually, I think game 2 will haunt the Giants fans more than game 6.

Problems the Giants need to address:

1) One more .300 hitter that can make good contact. It killed them this series to not be able to advance runners because they were striking out at inopportune times (see Reggie Sanders).

2) Dump Livan. Add a better starter. The core of Schmidt/Reuter/Ortiz is great. Ryan Jensen could mature into a #4 starter.

3) Let Dusty go. Starting Pedro Feliz, he of 2 previous WS at-bats in 6 games? Starting a 12-16 pitcher with a 4.35 ERA who got knocked around pretty good previously in the most important game of their lives?

4) Don't let JT Snow go. Ever.

Hey, back off man, that's Jeannie Zelasko. She knows a hell of a lot about sports and she's paid her dues.

She's been a part of the SoCal sports reporting scene for years. She belongs on that field - and she has been doing a great job.

And enough of Gene Autry? Hell no! Not nearly enough! The guy was a die hard fan of his own team. How many owners are really fans? Not as many as there should be. He really wanted them to win a series years ago, but only found disappointment. It's appropriate to remember an owner who knew many fans by name.

This was one of the better world series in the last half decade.

Way to go Angels!
